Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MLF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MLF1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher MLF1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MLF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where MLF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
