Across TCGA patient cohorts, MLEC mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 952 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MLEC-associated genes across cancer lineages are MTND5P35, RNU1-20P, and PRELID3BP1. Each is linked with MLEC in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MLEC-to-partner and partner-to-MLEC results are reported.
