Across TCGA cell cohorts, MLEC RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,059 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MLEC-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Rostrocaudal neural tube patterning, Peptidyl-serine phosphorylation, and Protein N-linked glycosylation. Each is linked with MLEC in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MLEC-to-partner and partner-to-MLEC results are reported.
