Across TCGA patient cohorts, MLC1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,572 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MLC1-associated genes across cancer lineages are MAPK1, PRODH, and CYTH4. Each is linked with MLC1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MLC1-to-partner and partner-to-MLC1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MLC1 versus MAPK1 in GBM, with a Pearson correlation of 0.31.
