Across TCGA patient cohorts, MLANA mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 54 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MLANA-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-1292P, PGBD4P2, and RNA5SP106. Each is linked with MLANA in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MLANA-to-partner and partner-to-MLANA results are reported.
