Across TCGA cell cohorts, MLANA protein abundance is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 383 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MLANA-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Sulfur amino acid transport, Negative regulation of adenylate cyclase-activating G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway, and Regulation of collagen metabolic process. Each is linked with MLANA in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MLANA-to-partner and partner-to-MLANA results are reported.
