Across TCGA patient cohorts, MKX mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,830 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MKX-associated genes across cancer lineages are DR1, KCTD9, and GOT1. Each is linked with MKX in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MKX-to-partner and partner-to-MKX results are reported.
