Across TCGA cell cohorts, MKX RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 1,611 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MKX-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Negative regulation of post-translational protein modification, Translational initiation, and RNA splicing, via transesterification reactions. Each is linked with MKX in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MKX-to-partner and partner-to-MKX results are reported.
