Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MKX-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MKX-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher MKX-AS1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MKX-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and THCA show a favorable association.

LGG, LUAD, and THCA are the cancer types where MKX-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
