Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MKRN2OS RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MKRN2OS data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MKRN2OS RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MKRN2OS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.

UCEC, BLCA, and SCLC are the cancer types where MKRN2OS RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
