Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MKLN1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MKLN1 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher MKLN1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MKLN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and LSCC show a favorable association.

GBM, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where MKLN1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
