Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MITD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MITD1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MITD1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MITD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where MITD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
