Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIS18A-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIS18A-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher MIS18A-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIS18A-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and HNSC show a favorable association.

LIHC, UCS, and UVM are the cancer types where MIS18A-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
