Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIS12 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MIS12 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher MIS12 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIS12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD and BRCA are the cancer types where MIS12 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
