Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR99B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MIR99B data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher MIR99B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR99B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

MESO are the cancer types where MIR99B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
