Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR9-1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR9-1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher MIR9-1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR9-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

THCA, ESCA, and HNSC are the cancer types where MIR9-1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
