Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR891B RNA is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR891B data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MIR891B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR891B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where MIR891B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
