Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR891A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR891A data layer compared with 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MIR891A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR891A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD are the cancer types where MIR891A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
