Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR7515HG RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 4 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MIR7515HG’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where MIR7515HG RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MIR7515HG is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUSC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LUSC, PRAD, and THCA are the cancer types where MIR7515HG tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
