Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR7150 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MIR7150’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where MIR7150 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MIR7150 is over-expressed in tumor.
ESCA, STAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where MIR7150 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
