Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR6763 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MIR6763’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where MIR6763 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MIR6763 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BRCA and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
BRCA, THCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where MIR6763 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
