Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR6744 RNA is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR6744 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma (PCPG), where higher MIR6744 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR6744 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.
PCPG and COAD are the cancer types where MIR6744 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
