Q-omics provides the consensus-scored MIR644A profile across patient tissues and cancer cell-line models. MIR644A expression is associated with patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, with the highest sampling consensus in THCA. Among the 18 cancer types available for tumor–normal comparison, MIR644A is differentially expressed in 5, with the highest sampling consensus in UCEC. Additionally, MIR644A RNA expression shows 7,922 significant gene co-expression associations, with the highest sampling consensus in LAML. Together, these results highlight THCA, UCEC, and LAML as cancer lineages where MIR644A shows reproducible signals across survival, tumor–normal expression, and patient cross-omics analyses.

Every result is evaluated using two consensus scores. Sampling consensus measures how consistently a finding is reproduced within a cancer lineage across different conditions. Lineage consensus measures how broadly the result is shared across cancer types, distinguishing pan-cancer signals from lineage-specific patterns.

Survival associations

This table summarizes MIR644A survival associations across molecular data types. MIR644A RNA expression shows survival associations in the most cancer types (12). The rightmost column indicates the cancer type with the highest sampling consensus for each molecular layer.

This table ranks reproducible MIR644A RNA expression–survival associations across cancer types. High MIR644A expression shows unfavorable associations in THCA, CHOL, HNSC, LGG, SKCM and THYM. The THCA Kaplan–Meier curve shows clear separation, with the high-expression group declining faster, consistent with the unfavorable association (log-rank p = .006). Together, the overview and detailed table identify THCA as the clearest survival context for MIR644A RNA expression.

This table ranks reproducible tumor–normal expression differences for MIR644A. A negative fold-change indicates higher expression in normal tissue than in tumor tissue. MIR644A shows higher tumor expression in UCEC, BLCA, STAD, LUSC and LIHC. The UCEC box plot shows higher MIR644A RNA expression in tumor versus normal tissue (log2 FC = +1.100, t-test p = .020).
