Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR572 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR572 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher MIR572 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR572 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and KIRC show a favorable association.
KICH, LIHC, and THCA are the cancer types where MIR572 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
