Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR548S RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR548S data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher MIR548S RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR548S expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.
KICH, CHOL, and STAD are the cancer types where MIR548S RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
