Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR548O2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MIR548O2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where MIR548O2 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MIR548O2 is over-expressed in tumor.
STAD are the cancer types where MIR548O2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
