Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR548AT RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MIR548AT’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where MIR548AT RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MIR548AT is over-expressed in tumor.
LUAD, KIRC, and CHOL are the cancer types where MIR548AT tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
