Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR520E RNA is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR520E data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher MIR520E RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR520E expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KICH, SKCM, and BRCA are the cancer types where MIR520E RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
