Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR519B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MIR519B data layer compared with 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher MIR519B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR519B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM and LGG are the cancer types where MIR519B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
