Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR517B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MIR517B data layer compared with 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MIR517B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR517B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC and ESCA are the cancer types where MIR517B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
