Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR516B1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR516B1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher MIR516B1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR516B1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
COAD, ESCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where MIR516B1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
