Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR514A2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR514A2 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher MIR514A2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR514A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD and SARC are the cancer types where MIR514A2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
