Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR514A1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR514A1 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher MIR514A1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR514A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC show a favorable association.
READ, KIRC, and STAD are the cancer types where MIR514A1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
