Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR4802 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR4802 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher MIR4802 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR4802 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and STAD show a favorable association.
THYM, MESO, and CESC are the cancer types where MIR4802 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
