Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR4733 RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR4733 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher MIR4733 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR4733 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and LUAD show a favorable association.
KIRP, KIRC, and LIHC are the cancer types where MIR4733 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.

Ranked by sampling consensus. AUC1 and AUC2 indicate survival in the high- and low-expression groups, respectively; the lower AUC marks the poorer-surviving group. p-values are from the log-rank test.
