Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR4729 RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR4729 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher MIR4729 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR4729 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and LAML show a favorable association.

COAD, KIRP, and ESCA are the cancer types where MIR4729 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
