Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR4661 RNA is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR4661 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MIR4661 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR4661 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV show a favorable association.
KIRC, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where MIR4661 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
