Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR4633 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MIR4633’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where MIR4633 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MIR4633 is over-expressed in tumor.
ESCA, STAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where MIR4633 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
