Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR4491 RNA is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR4491 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher MIR4491 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR4491 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and OV show a favorable association.
BLCA, SKCM, and THCA are the cancer types where MIR4491 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
