Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR4490 RNA is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR4490 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MIR4490 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR4490 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
KIRC, ESCA, and STAD are the cancer types where MIR4490 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
