Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR4478 RNA is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR4478 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher MIR4478 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR4478 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS show a favorable association.

BRCA, ESCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where MIR4478 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
