Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR4472-2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR4472-2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher MIR4472-2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR4472-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.

LUSC, DLBC, and COAD are the cancer types where MIR4472-2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
