Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR4305 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MIR4305’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where MIR4305 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MIR4305 is over-expressed in tumor.
STAD are the cancer types where MIR4305 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
