Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR4277 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MIR4277’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where MIR4277 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MIR4277 is over-expressed in tumor.
LUSC, THCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where MIR4277 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
