Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR378A RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR378A data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher MIR378A RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR378A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and BLCA show a favorable association.

PAAD, COAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where MIR378A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
