Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR367 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MIR367’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where MIR367 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MIR367 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as PAAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
PAAD, BRCA, and THCA are the cancer types where MIR367 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
