Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR329-2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR329-2 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in acute myeloid leukemia (LAML), where higher MIR329-2 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR329-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML show a favorable association.
LAML, STAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where MIR329-2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
