Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR323A RNA is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR323A data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher MIR323A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR323A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML show a favorable association.
STAD, BRCA, and LAML are the cancer types where MIR323A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
