Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR3179-3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR3179-3 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher MIR3179-3 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR3179-3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

STAD, LGG, and PAAD are the cancer types where MIR3179-3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
