Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR3179-2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR3179-2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher MIR3179-2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR3179-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

UCS, BRCA, and THCA are the cancer types where MIR3179-2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
